This attic bathroom had not been renovated by my clients when they’d moved in and its layout made it difficult to fully use the space comfortably.
My clients wished to have a bigger and more practical shower, better storage solutions and to make the best use of the space with its slanted roof.
In the chosen solution, the room was redesigned adding a wall under the beam (hiding a small storage room) and the layout completely changed.
The sink took the shower place and, with its mirror, it’s the first thing you see when opening the door.
A door in the wall hides the little storage room.
A new suspended toilet was installed where the roof comes down, but leaving enough height to stand up.
And the shower took the toilet’s place, where the ceiling was higher.
We added a touch of bright yellow (it’s on the children floor) and some nice lighting and there you go, a fresh and young new shower-room.
Attic bathroom can turn out perfectly but they’re rather tricky to imagine and design. If you want to renovate your bathroom and need help, contact us at info@standingrenovation.com
