A mix of painted and natural furniture gives a nice balance to a room, a balance you can’t get when every surface matches. Painted furnishings come in all forms, from formal dining chairs to rustic metal beds. The following are few of my favorite painted furnishings. Which one is yours?

A mix of gold and gray works well in this eclectic bedroom. The French dresser is gorgeous, don’t you think?

A rustic painted table sits at the center of a vintage dressed dining room. The floral light fixture gives it a whimsical feel.

A French painted armoire fits beautifully with vintage dress forms. I would love to see the rest of this intriguing space.
